Rescue Me ID: 16-11-04-00337Patches (female)
Patches is very sweet 1 year old Border Collie/cross. As with this breed of dog, she has lots of energy that needs to be released with long walks or runs, games of fetch or play time with other dogs. She loves to lay by you for snuggle time and belly rubs. Patches is working on basic commands and walking on the leash. She will use a dog door and has been doing well with house training. With her energy level she will do better with older children than toddlers. Patches is up to date on vaccinations, spayed and microchiped. If you are looking for the perfect walking, running or hiking partner, Patches could be the one.

Rescue Me ID: 16-10-27-00147Rosie (female)
Sweet little Rosie is finally coming out of her shell. When she first came in she would stand in the doorway and watch everyone else play. We knew she wanted to come out with all the other dogs, she was just too afraid. Heck not anymore. She races out the door with the rest of the crew. Trying to be first to get the ball. She smiles all the time and now with all the exercise she's getting she's not so chubby. She is beautiful, shiny and We think we can see a waist. :) Miss Rosie is a people person. She loves everyone and of course she wants us all to herself but she is learning to share. She loves kids, big kids little kids, all kids. She would be a wonderful family dog and probably do a great job baby sitting. HaHa Rosie is about 18 months to 2 years old. She has been spayed, is up on all her vaccinations and she is micro chipped. Please call Lorrie 208 339 0130 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for an application (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-10-04-00477Chewy (male)
We are rehoming our black lab mix. His name is Chewy, he is 11 months old. He is fixed and up to date on his shots. He is crate trained and mostly house broken. He is great with other dogs. He is a little rambunctious but good with kids. He gets bored and barks when we are not home. We just received a noise complaint. We live next to a walking path so Chewy is constantly alerting us to 'intruders' which is fine when we are home because he can come in. Unfortunately I am in school during the day and leaving him in his crate all day is not an option. There is no rehoming fee. We just want to make sure he finds a good home.

Must find a good home for my daughters 2 year old black lab cross. Very loyal and loving dog with people, but does not get along with other animals. Has not been around kids, so we do nor know her twmperment with them, but would not recomend due to aggresiveness toward small dogs. She must go to a home where she will be the only animal!

Rescue Me ID: 16-09-26-00613Hildy (female)
Hildy is a very fun, loving, highly active dog. Loves toys, would be ideal for a competitive fly ball or agility home, or those who like to take long hikes, daily bike rides, or running. She is not an apartment dog, needs a large fenced back yard to run in daily. Will sleep in a crate at night. Has an excellent recall, knows sit and heal.

Rescue Me ID: 16-09-07-00306Nessie (female)
FOSTER LOCATION: Twin Falls, ID Nessie is an approximately 3 year old, mellow, shepherd/border collie mix. She found herself at a local shelter having been an outside dog her entire life; Fuzzy Pawz knew that she would need to learn some house manners if she was ever going to live the life of luxury. And boy are we glad we placed her in a foster home - Nessie is 60 pounds of LOVE! Nessie is learning the ropes of being indoors; she is house trained, had to learn to walk on tile floors, conquered stairs, sleeps quietly through the night (crated or not). Nessie can be unsure of new situations but is learning that new experiences can be good; car rides go to fun places, strangers give scratches and pets, dogs want to play, vets give treats. Nessie is content doing just about anything, from lounging around during TV time to going for walks to supervising lawn mowing. Nessie's ideal home: One where her people are patient and gentle with training. A home where her people are around most of the day or where she can tag along at work. Nessie loves being around her people and receiving attention, scratches, belly rubs. If the family has kids, Nessie would probably do well with older, calm children (10 and up please). She is smart and listens well so it would be great if her people would stimulate her mentally with obedience classes, tricks, and/or games. The shelter said she can be food possessive around other dogs but this hasn't been observed in her foster home. Nessie is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. The sky is the limit with this girl; she bonds deeply with her people and is eager to learn. If you are looking for a sweet and loyal pup, Nessie is your girl! If you are interested in Nessie please complete an adoption application here: http://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/ There is a $75 adoption fee for Nessie (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-08-20-00313Vita (female)
This is my dad's dog Vita. She is a beagle/border collie mix. She is 8 years old. She is a great dog, really sweet. She would do best in a home with adults and older kids. She knows several commands and a few tricks. She would be best in a home as an only dog. Currently lives with an older female border collie. My dad can no longer take care of her due to his medical situation. Vita Needs a good home and I am prepared to pay a rehome fee for the right home. Please email me for more information. My dad has to find a home for her before September 1, 2016. Thank you! She knows commands.

Border Collie Dogs can make good pets in Idaho if they match your IifestyIe. Border Collies are extremely intelligent, faithful dogs who live to please their masters. Border Collies need lots of attention and praise. They respond to high level obedience training and make excellent Frisbee dogs and farm workers. Border Collies do well in large yards or with acreage and they need a job to do. If a Border Collie becomes bored, he will find his own job to do and it may not be the owner's idea of work. Border Collies do well with older children and other dogs, and some Border Collies can coexist with cats. However, it depends on the dog, and generally Border Collies should not be trusted with non-canine pets.
