I have two cats and they play often I have a 18 month old Grandson who they like but get Jealous when I baby talk him! Once upon a time someone called me Bliyd (welsh pronunciation of 'wolf). I know, I know it's awful and it's not a name to be calling a handsome devil like me so I ditched those people and hooked up with this hot young thing in Jerome, ID who is part of Fuzzy Pawz Rescue. Now I call myself Dallas 'cause everything is bigger and better in Texas, gotta do what you can to impress the ladies and hang with the big boys. Excuse the grey hair and don't let it fool you, I'm younger than I look; I'm a Border Collie/Lab mix; about 7 years old and aged to perfection; you won't find none better looking than me. I'm an easy going chap who never met a stranger whether they be human or animal; I say live and let live; let's all just get along. Heck I'm even partial to kids. My momma made sure I learned my house manners and how to walk well on a leash; I'm the perfect house mate! I do like to see what you are doing all the time just to make sure that things are runnin' proper on the home front; so I say 'pardon me ma'am now' when I end up under your feet. I'll go where you go and stay close to you outside, or by the t.v.; you know just in case you need me I do enjoy the great outdoors and like to mosey down the road aways if you have the time; but if not we can kick back and hang together. If you are looking for one fine companion I'm your man. I'm neutered, up to date on my vaccinations, and will be microchipped If you are looking for a new best friend to watch tv with or to take walks with please complete an adoption application at http://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/ There is an adoption fee of $40. **Dallas is eligible for our Pets for Patriots Program (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 14-04-14-00102River (male)|
River is a well mannered seven year old Border Collie. He knows basic commands, makes excellent eye contact, listens well, and and responds obediently. River's former owner reports he is house trained, enjoys children over the age of eight. River does not do well with cats. He seems ok with other dogs as he tends to acknowledge but not engage them. River is sweet tempered and laid back. He allows full handling and wants to please people. River seems to be a bit of a couch potato but we believe he's got plenty of energy for, and will enjoy, a long walk each day. If you are looking for a great companion who's calm and loyal, we invite you to come meet River. If you want to apply for River, go to http://www.meridianvalleyhumanesociety.com/pre-adopt-questionnaire.rtf to fill out an application. After completing the application, e-mail it to email@example.com. All applications will be considered and the adoption coordinator will contact the person chosen to adopt him. (Less)

Border Collie Dogs can make good pets in Idaho if they match your IifestyIe. Border Collies are extremely intelligent, faithful dogs who live to please their masters. Border Collies need lots of attention and praise. They respond to high level obedience training and make excellent Frisbee dogs and farm workers. Border Collies do well in large yards or with acreage and they need a job to do. If a Border Collie becomes bored, he will find his own job to do and it may not be the owner's idea of work. Border Collies do well with older children and other dogs, and some Border Collies can coexist with cats. However, it depends on the dog, and generally Border Collies should not be trusted with non-canine pets.
