Rescue Me ID: 14-06-16-00487Nora (female)
Miss Nora is a super sweet girl. She loves to play, loves to walk and loves to play chase. She was found by a local rescue group in KCK chained to a wall in a basement and left for dead. As you can see she is all healed up and healthy now. She is excitable but has not shown any aggression with my other fosters or my cats. She has been shy toward my husband and is very loyal to me. She is potty trained and kennel trained. Squeaky toys scare her. I doubt she would have any problems with kids aside from she may knock them over if they are outside with her. She really deserves a home of her own and a play mate of her very own!

Rescue Me ID: 14-04-24-00436Reba (female)
This pretty gal is Reba. We believe she is possibly a Border Collie/Corgi mix or Heeler/Corgi mix. She has a little bit shorter legs but her fur is so soft! Her and her sister Faith came to us from a kill shelter in AR and were absolutely unsocial and terrified. They are now great little girls, who are crate trained and know 'kennel up', know sit, will come when called. They loved to have their tummies rubbed and love to play! They walk well on a leash, but get scared when cars go by and will stop and wait for them to pass but they have come a long way with amazing foster parents and are now ready to find a home of their own. They are spayed, current on shots and microchipped. For more information contact email@example.com. Adoption fee is $200. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Border Collie in Kansas
Border Collie Dogs can make good pets in Kansas if they match your IifestyIe. Border Collies are extremely intelligent, faithful dogs who live to please their masters. Border Collies need lots of attention and praise. They respond to high level obedience training and make excellent Frisbee dogs and farm workers. Border Collies do well in large yards or with acreage and they need a job to do. If a Border Collie becomes bored, he will find his own job to do and it may not be the owner's idea of work. Border Collies do well with older children and other dogs, and some Border Collies can coexist with cats. However, it depends on the dog, and generally Border Collies should not be trusted with non-canine pets.
