My name is Buddy and I'm a rather cute border collie mix dog. I spent a long time at a rural dog pound where I became fearful and wary of strangers approaching me. That was no good for a loveable pooch like me. But there's good news!! The Pet Connection took me into their program and I've been doing just great. I love playing with my ball and can even play fetch. I know lots of basic commands and I do GREAT with other dogs. Now it's time for me to find my forever home. If you want to learn more about me, just call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387.

Luna is a 4 year old lab border collie mix. We have had her since she was 2 months old. We need to find her a new home because my family does not have the time anymore to play with her and give her the attention she needs. She needs a home where she is played with and mentally stimulated ever day. She is a high energy dog! It is important that she gets the attention she needs! She loves all people, dogs and cats. When we first brought her home we found out that she is afraid of lawnmowers and vacumm cleaners. She needs lots of attention and is a very loving playful dog! She is so sweet!!

PIease Read Before Adopting a Border Collie in Kansas
Border Collie Dogs can make good pets in Kansas if they match your IifestyIe. Border Collies are extremely intelligent, faithful dogs who live to please their masters. Border Collies need lots of attention and praise. They respond to high level obedience training and make excellent Frisbee dogs and farm workers. Border Collies do well in large yards or with acreage and they need a job to do. If a Border Collie becomes bored, he will find his own job to do and it may not be the owner's idea of work. Border Collies do well with older children and other dogs, and some Border Collies can coexist with cats. However, it depends on the dog, and generally Border Collies should not be trusted with non-canine pets.
