Compatibility: Good with Most Cats, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Seizures,
 Abused/Neglected

[Read About Natural Seizure Care] Chloe is a very playful and loving puppy. She loves chasing you around if you want to play, but she also likes to lay in your lap and watch TV with you. She's a recent rescue. When we got her from her former owners, she was sitting in a baby pen and not allowed out. From what we can see, she's about 10 months old. She isn't house trained yet due to neglect from her former owners, but with a little TLC, she's sure to be able to come around. She has a history of seizures, which she has medication for, but to my knowledge she hasn't had one in a few months.

White Sox is a male lab/Border Collie born about 1/2012. He is neutered and up to date on shots. Sox gets along great with other dogs, but has never been around cats so we don't know how he would do with them. He is a bit timid around young children so he needs a home without young kids. Sox was born into a home where an elderly lady didn't get any of her dogs fixed and she ended up with a lot of dogs. We are now looking for a home for Sox where he can get a lot of love and attention which he craves.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Border Collie in Louisiana
Border Collie Dogs can make good pets in Louisiana if they match your IifestyIe. Border Collies are extremely intelligent, faithful dogs who live to please their masters. Border Collies need lots of attention and praise. They respond to high level obedience training and make excellent Frisbee dogs and farm workers. Border Collies do well in large yards or with acreage and they need a job to do. If a Border Collie becomes bored, he will find his own job to do and it may not be the owner's idea of work. Border Collies do well with older children and other dogs, and some Border Collies can coexist with cats. However, it depends on the dog, and generally Border Collies should not be trusted with non-canine pets.
