Rescue Me ID: 17-01-16-00396Otis (male)
Otis was a dumped dog who was rehomed with a young family. He was a cherished member of the family until a move forced them to return him to foster care. He is a lovable couch potato who adores kids and wants to be part of a loving family. He is a total couch potato and loves to snuggle. He does very well with small dogs, but does not respond well to large males who may challenge him for dominance. If unsupervised, he will chase cats. He is well-behaved and is learning basic obedience commands.

Pippin is a loving and great dog in many ways. He is hard to handle for my family because he is difficult to walk on a leash do to reactive behavior to moving vehicles, squirrels, and rabbits. Also, do to our long work hours, he spends too much of the day in a kennel. He is smart yet He needs to be trained to come when called. He is beautiful, healthy and good with adults and children.

Rescue Me ID: 16-09-20-00504Bill and Ted (male)
EXCELLENT BILL AND TED - LAB MIX BROTHERS 1 YO SEEK LOVING HOME WITH SECURELY FENCED YARD REQUEST TO MEET US HERE: http://findmypetahome.com/bill-ted/ $75 Adoption Fee For Both Dogs Together - Supplies Included We are litter mates - both just 1 year old. We are a lovely mix of Yellow Labrador Retriever and Border Collie. We're smart as can be, but a bit mischievous. We're closely bonded, and love to wrestle. We have had all of our vet care done. We're neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped and very healthy. We have undergone obedience training, and are both perfectly house broken. And did I mention that we love children? We live with two little girls who love to dress us up. We are more fun than a barrel full of Monkeys. So why are we being rehomed? Like our namesakes, we like to go on our own little adventures. Our owners live in a neighborhood that does not allow the construction of fences. They have an invisible fence that is supposed to contain us, but it does not work. We have gone awol more than a few times, and with a very busy road close to our house, we have had some very close calls. Our owners love us so much. They want to ensure our safety, and need to find us a home with people who have a securely fenced back yard for us to play in. As 1 year olds, we are still puppies. We have undergone obedience training, but still have a lot to learn. Most Labs don't mature until 2 years of age or older. We're still rambunctious kids that get carried away at times. We need owners who will be patient with us as we mature, and who will be firm and consistent in training us to be the best dogs ever. Above all, we need owners who can keep us safe and take great care to keep us from getting out of the yard. If you have been looking for a matched set of handsome, adorable and sweet dogs to add love, joy, laughter and companionship to life, please offer us a loving forever home today! Love and Licks, Bill and Ted Location: St Louis, MO, 63131 Type of Pet: Dogs Breed: Mixed: Yellow Lab, border collie (they think) Age: Turned 1 on approximately June 1, 2016 Color/Coat Type: blond, short hair Size: 42 lbs Health Issues: no. |Rescue Me ID: 16-09-01-00293Jack (male)|
Jack is a very sweet dog that loves a lot of attention. He does a few tricks as sitting, shake, speak, and lay. He is kennel trained and potty trained. Jack needs someone special to train him because he has some aggression issues. He has aggression when it comes to bones or treats and some times with his food bowl. He is okay with our dog, but very rambunctious and if he sees other dogs outside he barks a lot and tries to get out of his collar. He is a very dominate dog, so it would be preferred for him to go where there are no other dogs so he can have his attention. He is also okay with children, but I would not recommend him to live with any. He is too playful and knocks down my children and jumps on them. So with that being said, Jack needs special work and attention and needs someone that has the time and patience with him. (Less)

Animal ID: 463Willie (male)
Hi, my name is Willie. I am a happy dog that loves affection. I get along well with other dogs, I know the command 'sit' and I'm house-trained, all good traits. However, there is something you need to know about me, I get very possessive of my owner. So, I have very specific adoption requirements. I would do best in a home with a single person who can isolate me when they have company. If it's you and me, we'll do great! I'm a good dog I just have a need to ensure you are safe. I know there is a home where I belong; is it yours?

PIease Read Before Adopting a Border Collie in Missouri
Border Collie Dogs can make good pets in Missouri if they match your IifestyIe. Border Collies are extremely intelligent, faithful dogs who live to please their masters. Border Collies need lots of attention and praise. They respond to high level obedience training and make excellent Frisbee dogs and farm workers. Border Collies do well in large yards or with acreage and they need a job to do. If a Border Collie becomes bored, he will find his own job to do and it may not be the owner's idea of work. Border Collies do well with older children and other dogs, and some Border Collies can coexist with cats. However, it depends on the dog, and generally Border Collies should not be trusted with non-canine pets.
