8 months old. The previous owners could not take care of him. He is very friendly and great with other dogs. He currently weighs 60 pounds, so will be a big dog as an adult. He needs a fenced yard. The previous owners did not do any work with him. He is not yet housetrained, but he is in a foster home working on that. He does fine in a crate. He is being taught basic commands and house manners. He is active, so needs the right home for that. But he also calms right down when he needs to. He is extremely friendly to everyone, a very happy dog.

Flower has the most beautiful face and lovely coloring on her body as well. She is a border collie or smooth collie and bull terrier mix. Her head has the classic bull terrier slope but to a lesser degree. She is about 1 year old and she is definitely a puppy in personality. She has lots of energy and is learning well now how to walk on a leash. She has a short tail and is around 40-50 pounds. She will need some continued good citizen training and she is at the perfect age for that. She could excel at agility!! She is spayed and microchipped and fully vaccinated. She would love a new home and likely will do better with a fenced in yard and a ... (Read More)lot of tennis balls. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Border Collie in Montana
Border Collie Dogs can make good pets in Montana if they match your IifestyIe. Border Collies are extremely intelligent, faithful dogs who live to please their masters. Border Collies need lots of attention and praise. They respond to high level obedience training and make excellent Frisbee dogs and farm workers. Border Collies do well in large yards or with acreage and they need a job to do. If a Border Collie becomes bored, he will find his own job to do and it may not be the owner's idea of work. Border Collies do well with older children and other dogs, and some Border Collies can coexist with cats. However, it depends on the dog, and generally Border Collies should not be trusted with non-canine pets.
