Border Collie Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults

Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Jade is a sweet and loving pit bull mix. She has tons of puppy energy and needs a home that has time to get her energy out! She loves to chew things when she is bored, so she also needs mental stimulation. She is extremely smart and a quick learner. She just finished level one dog training classes. She knows her name, responds to commands come, sit, lay and stay. She also rings bells on the back door for when she needs to go outside.. She is crate trained and potty trained. She sleeps in her crate at night and loves to nap there as well. She comes with her crate, dog food, leashes, toys, and three different collars. She is very submissive ... (Read More)but also extremely stubborn when she wants something. She does not realize how big she is and thinks she is a lap dog. She also doesn't realize how strong she is and she tends to knock younger kids over and then shower them with kisses. She does not love the car but she loves to go places. She drools a lot in the car so it's a good idea to bring a towel for her. She is looking for a loving home that has the time and energy for her. She is such a sweet girl. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Border Collie in Nevada
Border Collie Dogs can make good pets in Nevada if they match your IifestyIe. Border Collies are extremely intelligent, faithful dogs who live to please their masters. Border Collies need lots of attention and praise. They respond to high level obedience training and make excellent Frisbee dogs and farm workers. Border Collies do well in large yards or with acreage and they need a job to do. If a Border Collie becomes bored, he will find his own job to do and it may not be the owner's idea of work. Border Collies do well with older children and other dogs, and some Border Collies can coexist with cats. However, it depends on the dog, and generally Border Collies should not be trusted with non-canine pets.
