Rescue Me ID: 14-08-31-00478Sally (female)
Sally is a big fluffy bundle of affection. Like a large teddy bear this happy go lucky girl just loves to be cuddled, and tickled and hugged and generally made a fussed of. She walks well on her leash and enjoys the company of other dogs. She has had a number of kennel mates over the time and has gotten along fabulously with each and every one. She truly is an awesome girl with a huge passion for life and desire to love and be loved. In fact on a wet weekend we also found that Sally loves cool rainy days, bouncing, skipping and splashing about like a pup in the rain. A joy to see rewarded with the biggest grin and a tail that would not stop wagging. Sally rains affection on everyone she meets and will be a fabulous addition to a family home. ***To fill out an adoption application for this dog, please go to the following website: http://www.petsalive.com/adoptadog.html . We have been asked to help 3 adorable, fluffy brothers. They are border collie mixes and all almost identical and gorgeous. They are currently 18 lbs and 3 months old. Their mom is about 40lbs, so not too big.We have named them Brice, Baron & Bentley...they all look the same. Rescue will transport, if needed.

Rescue Me ID: 14-08-29-00251Dylan (male)
Dylan is an energetic, friendly Border Collie. They said Lab Spaniel when I adopted him, but as he's aged both in appearance and behavior, it is clear he is at ,east predominantly a Border Collie with perhaps some other blood in him. I have to move and even if I were to decide to take him with me, I live in a city and this dog needs more space and more attention than I can give him. He does have a problem with separation anxiety. He has proven too much dog for me from the start. I was inexperienced when I adopted him. Dylan needs a home that can give him the out let for his energy. If you have property and maybe even another dog , that might be helpful. Expericne with separation anxiety is also helpful. He is a wonderfully loyal animal, but he will try to push your buttons. He has had some obedience training and responded well to it. I'd recommend more. He might really love agility training. It breaks my heart to let him go, but I'm looking to do the best for both of us and I think that this is the right thing to do. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-07-19-00078bella (female)
Bella is a highly energetic border collie mix who needs to run to burn off energy. She is good with other animals and children but should be in a home with not a lot of activity, preferably a 1-2 adult family home. She does get a bit anxious and fearful around some male adults. With some traing and a lot of TLC, Bella would make the perfect companion.

Rescue Me ID: 14-04-23-00232Isabelle Isabella (female)
Isabelle was street dog in Arecibo Puerto Rico when she was picked for TNR a few months ago. She was spayed and vaccinated and released back to the same area where some very kind people were feeding and looking out for her. Pets Alive in Puerto Rico got the word that the area was no longer a safe place for Isabelle so they took her into their rescue program. Isabelle made her journey to Pets Alive in Middletown in search of a loving family of her very own. ***To fill out an adoption application for this dog, please go to the following website: http://www.petsalive.com/adoptadog.html . Border Collie Dogs can make good pets in New York if they match your IifestyIe. Border Collies are extremely intelligent, faithful dogs who live to please their masters. Border Collies need lots of attention and praise. They respond to high level obedience training and make excellent Frisbee dogs and farm workers. Border Collies do well in large yards or with acreage and they need a job to do. If a Border Collie becomes bored, he will find his own job to do and it may not be the owner's idea of work. Border Collies do well with older children and other dogs, and some Border Collies can coexist with cats. However, it depends on the dog, and generally Border Collies should not be trusted with non-canine pets.
