Rescue Me ID: 18-02-18-00031CHLOE (female)
'CHLOE' is an adorable 9 to 10 month old, 50 lb., flat coated Border Collie mix female we rescued from a very high kill pound. A very sweet & submissive girl, who has a wide-eyed wonder of the world. Loving, kind, gentle, smart and silly, all wrapped up in a very cute package ! Chloe is spayed, fully vaccinated, de-wormed, on monthly heart-worm preventative, house-trained and crate-trained. All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., probiotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition. This smiling, happy boy with the most adorable ears is Adam! Rescued from death row at a high kill shelter this 2 yr year old Border Collie/Lab/Pointer mix is the total package and will make a wonderful addition to any family. He is actually much smaller than he appears in his photos weighing in at 30-35 lbs. Adam loves people of all ages and is very affectionate. He is house trained and very smart. He has average energy for his age snd breed. Adam would be happiest in a home where he would be the only dog or with another dog that is smaller than him. |Rescue Me ID: 18-01-23-00031jack (male)|
Jack is a horse of a different color. He was relinquished because he was a big time chewer when he was younger. He is a good boy. He is housebroken but crated when I am gone. He is a big chewer so needs toys to chew ( nylabones work well for him) He gets along with with other dogs He loves to swim and chase tennis balls but would eat them if he had them laying around. He will go forever for a tennis ball. He is housebroken but again he is crate trained. I believe he is about four years old. He is looking for a special home where he will be loved and cared for. I have put off rehoming him because he use to chew so bad - but he has some what grown out of it . He had a lot of behavioral problems but he has worked out of them. He listens well once he gets to know you. I am looking for a special FOREVER home for him and do require him to come back to me if it does not work out. Please let me know if you are interested in meeting Jack. He deserves a great home and I will keep him until that comes along. He is use to riding in a vehicle and has no problems doing that . He loves to walk and good on a leash - would love a walking partner. Not a couch potato dog. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 18-01-04-00427Sadie (female)
My sweet baby was recently diagnosed with IBD. The specialist thinks it's a food allergy. She is currently on a small dosage of Prednisone and a low residual food and is responding well. Sadie does well with Women and other dogs. Not friendly around adult men. She is also anxious around children and takes Medication as needed for her nervousness. She requires more time as she has to go outside every 3-4 hours and has snapped at both of my toddlers. Please feel free to text or call me if you have any questions.

Rescue Me ID: 17-09-07-00082Levi (male)
Levi is ready for his forever home! 3 year old male border collie mix. He was death listed at the shelter for being afraid. He has come a long way. He gets along with older or calmer dogs. He is really laid back but he does like to take walks and go on hikes. He can climb chain link fences and really likes to do so. He can be stubborn sometimes. He does fine with cats usually ignores them. Levi has been abused/neglected in the past so we recommend moving slowly with him and taking time with him. He is a loyal dog but he just needs someone willing to give him the time he needs to adapt. Levi is UTD on vaccines, heartworm negative, crate trained, and neutered. His adoption fee is $150. Email email@example.com for more information (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Border Collie in Ohio
Border Collie Dogs can make good pets in Ohio if they match your IifestyIe. Border Collies are extremely intelligent, faithful dogs who live to please their masters. Border Collies need lots of attention and praise. They respond to high level obedience training and make excellent Frisbee dogs and farm workers. Border Collies do well in large yards or with acreage and they need a job to do. If a Border Collie becomes bored, he will find his own job to do and it may not be the owner's idea of work. Border Collies do well with older children and other dogs, and some Border Collies can coexist with cats. However, it depends on the dog, and generally Border Collies should not be trusted with non-canine pets.
