Animal ID: BELLABELLA (female)
Meet BELLA, a stunning girl with a very friendly, playful and happy demeanor. The only family she has ever known recently loss their home and dumped poor BELLA at a kill shelter. She was very sad for the first few days, but her happy radiant nature is shinning through the storm. BELLA is a 2 year old, 50lb, pittie/pointer/border collie mix who loves everyone she meets. Because she's large and playful, however, she would not be suitable for young kids and small dogs. She is crate trained, housebroken, knows basic command and super affectionate. She would make a wonderful addition to your family. BELLA needs to find a new furever family or foster family immediately. BELLA is spayed and up to date on core vaccines. Adoption fee is $400. Please note that training is highly recommended for all young dogs. As with all rescue animals, breed determination cannot be validated without genetic testing. Visit WWW.LULUSRESCUE.ORG and click on the ADOPT tab for an overview of Lulu's Rescue adoption process. Thanks for adopting and saving a life -- you are BELLA'S hero! (Less)

Feb 20th 2018 Artic is a 2 yr old male - German Shepherd/Collie/Siberian Husky mix. He is heartworm positive, and his treatment is sponsored . He needs structure and some training. He LOVES tennis balls and is eager to please. ********** Arctic has been in foster and he is now looking for a new foster AND/OR his furever family! Western PA. They were hoping to adopt him but unfortunately one of them is allergic :0( He is such a handsome boy! He is heartworm positive but shows no symptoms and is very happy and energetic . His heartworm treatment expenses are sponsored. Arctic is energetic and needs some manners and leadership. He is extremely eager to please and Super super smart! He is obsessed with tennis balls ! He has some guarding issues with his food and toys but he seems to relax after a short time with 'his people'. He's also showing some guarding of 'his people' and dominant behavior with strangers that is correctable but will take a bit of effort. He is mostly uncomfortable with people in his face ( as many dogs are) He needs to learn how to trust. Home with teenage children or adults only. He can be in the household with other dogs if it is structured. He has not been tested with cats but I would not recommend this at this time. He is unaltered due to his heartworm status. He is up to date on shots and microchipped. Email Pawluvernetwork@gmail.com for application. (Less)

Animal ID: HOLLYHolly (female)
I'm HOLLY, I am super smart girl, not easily stumped, but right now I'm a little perplexed. Why you ask? I've had a tough time finding the right furever home! Why? Because people just don't get me and I'm not a complicated dog! Basically, I'm an adorable 16-month-old, 35lb., Border Collie mix who needs and enjoys lots of daily exercise and companionship. How about you? I enjoy lots of activities including rock hopping; playing catch and fetch; running in open fields; and long walks in the forest or along the beach. How about you? I learn quickly, know lots of basic commands and I'm highly treat and praise motivated. I find learning new things lots of fun! How about you? Recently I learned how to go through one of those 4-foot caterpillar-like tunnels. It was a little scary at first, but after I went through it and survived (!), I wanted to do it again and again and again!! (Fun, fun, fun!). I'm housebroken, crate trained, walk nicely on a leash, and love cuddling and snuggling with my humans. I have had a few really close furfriends (like Daisy in the video) but wouldn't mind being the only dog soaking up all the attention. If you are an active and adventurous person experienced with herding or other high energy breeds, I'm sure you'll agree that I'm not complicated at all. If you have a place in your heart for a lovely sweetheart like me, come get me soon. I'm HOLLY. HOLLY is spayed and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. Adoption fee is $325. Please note that training is recommended for all dogs. As with all rescue animals, breed determination cannot be validated without genetic testing. Visit WWW.LULUSRESCUE.ORG and click on the ADOPT tab for an overview of the Lulu's Rescue adoption process. Thank you for adopting and saving a life - YOU ARE HOLLY'S HERO! (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Border Collie in Pennsylvania
Border Collie Dogs can make good pets in Pennsylvania if they match your IifestyIe. Border Collies are extremely intelligent, faithful dogs who live to please their masters. Border Collies need lots of attention and praise. They respond to high level obedience training and make excellent Frisbee dogs and farm workers. Border Collies do well in large yards or with acreage and they need a job to do. If a Border Collie becomes bored, he will find his own job to do and it may not be the owner's idea of work. Border Collies do well with older children and other dogs, and some Border Collies can coexist with cats. However, it depends on the dog, and generally Border Collies should not be trusted with non-canine pets.
