Are you looking for the perfect family dog? One that is good natured, ready to please, and is trustworthy? Meet Piper I am Piper, born on July 7th 2017. I am a cattle dog mix, I look like a border collie, and have mid length hair. I am about 25-30lbs, 18inchs in height, and most likely will stay this size. I am tri-color, white, brown, and black. I am spayed, up to date on shots and preventatives. I am looking for my forever home. I was adopted, then the family had to downsize their home and didn't feel it was fair to me to lose my yard. I am potty trained, crate trained, leash trained, fine with baths & getting my nails clipped, I come to my name very well, and am trustworthy to free roam the home. I am being fostered with 4 large breed dogs and 2 cats. I mix very well with all of them. I love to play with children, my dog friends, and my foster mom. My foster mom says I'm a one a million dog, and would keep me if she could. I am so sweet, cuddly, as well as intelligent and independent. I have no vices and I have never shown any aggression. I have a submissive personality, I have energy to go play, and I also just love snuggling up on the couch to watch a movie. Please contact Julia at email@example.com for further information, and if you're seriously interested please fill out an adoption application at tinypawssmalldogrescue.org (Less)

Hi my name is Luke! I'm a black, beautiful German Shepherd/Border Collie mix. I'm told I have a gorgeous coat! I love adults and kids, love to play/fetch, run in a big fenced in area, eat, chew on big bones, play tug o war, belly rubs and lots of love and attention. I'm also protective over my owners and will let you know if something's up. My owner had to give me up due to her medical issues. So right now I'm being fostered by a loving family who are taking great care of me until I find my furever family. I'm the sweetest, most loving dog ever and will be loyal to you as long as we're together. Please come and meet me...I know you'll fall in love with me! (Less)

|PIease Read Before Adopting a Border Collie in Wisconsin|
Border Collie Dogs can make good pets in Wisconsin if they match your IifestyIe. Border Collies are extremely intelligent, faithful dogs who live to please their masters. Border Collies need lots of attention and praise. They respond to high level obedience training and make excellent Frisbee dogs and farm workers. Border Collies do well in large yards or with acreage and they need a job to do. If a Border Collie becomes bored, he will find his own job to do and it may not be the owner's idea of work. Border Collies do well with older children and other dogs, and some Border Collies can coexist with cats. However, it depends on the dog, and generally Border Collies should not be trusted with non-canine pets.
